MP Jumblatt urges government to resort to sanitary landfills

Democratic Gathering head MP Walid Jumblatt urged on Friday the Lebanese government to resort to the sanitary landfills after the failure to adopt the waste deportation option.

Jumblatt called on “all political forces with no exception, as well as the civil society, the municipalities and the union of municipalities to shoulder their full responsibilities in this regard.

He also called ion them to deal with the issue because its economic, environmental and psychological impacts are very significant on the Lebanese people.
