March 14: Parliamentary sessions were “arena to renew civil war”
March 14 General Secretariat slammed in a statement on Wednesday last week’s heated parliamentary sessions, depicting them as an arena that threatened to renew civil war.

The statement, issued following the secretariat’s weekly meeting, blamed Hezbollah and Change and Reform bloc MPs of being responsible for the tensions that serve the interest of the Syrian regime.

The secretariat stressed that it will take all democratic measures to protect Lebanon’s peace.

The parliament held a three-day general session last week aimed at assessing the government’s performance, which also highlighted the ongoing tensions between the rival March 8 and 14 camps.
