Salameh to file legal claim against MP Sakr on Tuesday or Wednesday

Attorney Rashad Salameh appointed by Syria to file a lawsuit against MP Okab Saqr declared on Monday that he has not yet filed the lawsuit, noting that he might file it tomorrow or the day after.

In the last week of November, Lebanese television OTV and al-Akhbar newspaper, broadcast and printed a three-part series of the recordings that allegedly depict Sakr discussing arrangements to ship arms supplies to the Syrian opposition.

In turn, Sakr held a press conference on Thursday 6th of December whereby he challenged the Syrian government and Lebanese rivals to prove his involvement. Sakr lashed out at accusers, stating that he had been providing humanitarian aid to the Syrian people, including milk for infants and blankets.
