MP Cynthia Zarazir enters bank branch to demand trapped savings-[REPORT]

Representative Cynthia Zarazir entered on Wednesday a bank branch in Antelias region, accompanied by her lawyer, requesting the transfer of part of her deposits.

 

As soon as she left the bank, Zarazir said: “I am a Lebanese citizen and I came to demand my right to the bank.”

 

“I went through the entire path and went through a series of procedures that were asked of me by the bank, but there was evasion and we reached an unfair solution and there was pressure to sign an arbitrary paper,” Zarazir explained.

 

She then added “we are working in the Lebanese parliament on a complete and equitable plan for depositors.”
