Million doses of Sputnik V vaccine to arrive to Lebanon the coming week

Head of the Lebanese-Russian Business Council Jacques Sarraf announced on Tursday that the first batch of the Russian "Sputnik V" vaccine against coronavirus will arrive to Lebanon the coming week.

Sarraf said in statements to "Sputnik" that "the first batch of Sputnik V vaccine will arrive in Lebanon next week," within the framework of the implementation of a contract concluded by the company Pharma Trade of Malia Group, whose board of directors he chairs with the Russian side, and includes Million doses.

He described the move as an initiative aimed at speeding up the vaccination campaign in Lebanon.

He indicated that the vaccine would be available will be offered at a “very cheap” price of 38 USD for the two doses and that the money will be paid by companies seeking to vaccinate their employees.
