Executive Director of the Lebanese Association for Democratic Elections (LADE) Ali Selim mentioned on Saturday that no citizen has the right to vote if his name is not on the list of the eligible voters.
Selim’s comments were made during an interview with Nharkom Said TV show on LBCI, whereby he explained how the voting process takes place.
Furthermore, he clarified that in the following cases a ballot paper is considered null:
- Ballot paper that includes any other symbol than ✖ and ✔
- Voting for two preferred candidates from two different lists
- Every unofficial ballot paper
- Voting for two lists
