After Bachoura building targeted, Israeli army says Hezbollah hid millions of dollars beneath it

The Israeli army issued a statement warning residents of Beirut, particularly in the Bachoura neighborhood, that Hezbollah had reportedly hidden millions of dollars beneath a residential building to fund its activities.

According to the statement, the money was stored in a complex located on the second basement level, guarded by armed militants, with access through a parking area beneath the civilian building. This, the army said, placed hundreds of residents in the building and surrounding area at significant risk.

The statement accused Hezbollah of dragging Lebanon into conflict to serve Iran while continuing to operate in civilian areas, this time in the heart of the capital, hiding its activities from both the state and the public.
