Roads cut off on the background of Sidon's incidents

Several people cut off on Sunday the Abdel Hamid Karami roundabout in Tripoli with burning tires, while sporadic gunshots were heard in the city, in solidarity with the Imam of Bilal bin Rabah mosque Sheikh Ahmad al-Assir.

This comes as the Jaafar family in Baalbek cut off the Tal el-Abyad road in solidarity with the Lebanese Armed Forces.

Earlier, clashes erupted in Sidon between supporters of Sheikh Ahmad al-Assir and the LAF following the arrest of one of Sheikh al-Assir's bodyguards by the LAF.
