REPORT: 30 wounded Syrians forcibly discharged from hospital

The administration of the Alameddine Hospital in Tripoli’s Al-Minieh region forcibly discharged on Monday 30 wounded Syrians that were receiving treatment after sustaining wounds in Syria.

A nurse at the hospital said the reason behind discharging them was related to financial issues; however, the director of the Syrian refugees affairs’ office in Lebanon Khaled al-Mustafa reported that discharging the wounded Syrians was on the backdrop of internal disputes between partners at the hospital.

This report will shed light on the circumstances behind the release of the Syrians as well as the position of the hospital’s administration in this regard.
