President Sleiman calls for further consultations to form a new cabinet

President Michel Sleiman called Saturday for the resumption of national dialogue in order to find the most appropriate means to manage Lebanon’s internal affairs.

During a graduation ceremony for students of St. Joseph University, Sleiman stressed that he will call on all the Lebanese political parties to maintain Lebanon’s security and shield it from the regional conflicts and the repercussions of the Syrian crisis.

President Sleiman also highlighted the need to hold further consultations in a bid to form a new government that shall be able to maintain stability, pointing out that he will continue to support the legitimate institutions in order to uphold the country’s sovereignty.
