Meeting held in Bcharreh to tackle removal of environmental violations

A meeting was held on Wednesday between members of the environmental committee and former Lebanese MP Gebran Tawk at the latter's residence in order to tackle the removal of violations near the cedars forest.

Clashes erupted on Tuesday in the northern village of Bcharreh between supporters of former MP Tawk and security forces on the backdrop of calls to remove the venue that he had recently built.
