Amelie Zinzius appointed Deputy Registrar for STL

The Special Tribunal for Lebanon issued a statement on Friday whereby it announced that Amelie Zinzius was sworn in today as Deputy Registrar for the STL, noting that she replaces Daryl Mundis, who was appointed Registrar in July this year.

The STL added that Ms. Zinzius will be working with the Registrar to provide legal, administrative and other vital support to the Tribunal and will deputise in his absence.

Zinzius will also supervise judicial services in order to ensure the smooth running of court proceedings.

Ms. Zinzius has been a lawyer since 1992. Before running as Acting Deputy Registrar as of August 2013, she was Chief of the STL's Court Management Services Section which deals with court management services, including information management, trial activity, and international and stakeholder relations.
