Nasrallah: Our actions in Syria will not change what we have prepared for Israel

Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah noted that there are “no red lines” in the “security war” against Israel, al-Akhbar newspaper reported.

He told the daily in excerpts released on Wednesday: “Hamas was not serious in its call on Hezbollah for assistance in the Gaza Strip.”

As for the regional developments, Nasrallah said: “What we have prepared for Israel was not affected by our actions in Syria.

On July 29, deputy head of Hamas' political bureau Moussa Abu Marzouq had hoped that Hezbollah will open a new front from South Lebanon against Israel after it launched a campaign against Hamas in the Gaza strip.

In July, Nasrallah said his armed group will stand by the Palestinian people and “all Palestinian resistance factions.”

Hezbollah has sent fighters to Syria to fight alongside the Syrian regime troops against the rebels seeking to topple Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.

The full interview with al-Akhbar newpaper, will be published on Thursday and Friday.
