Speaker Nabih Berri affirmed on Thursday during his meeting with new UN Special Coordinator for Lebanon Pernille Dahler Kardel that “the relationship between the UN forces, the Lebanese Army, and the southern people is good.”
He also praised the UN Secretary General’s stance regarding the crisis that Lebanon went through.
Berri also pointed out to the last International report regarding resolution 1701 that clearly listed the Israeli violations of the said resolution.
Berri also addressed the issue of the maritime boundaries and Lebanon’s economic region. He stressed that “the UN needs to complete what it started with this issue.”
