PM Diab from Diman: I will not resign

Maronite Patriarch Bechara Rai met on Saturday with Prime Minister Hassan Diab at the Patriarchate's summer seat in Diman.

Talks reportedly touched on the country’s economic and social situation.

Following the meeting, Diab said that he will not resign.

“If I resign, no alternative will be found easily and acting in the capacity of caretaker is a crime against the Lebanese people,” Diab told reporters.
