Mufti Qabbani: the beneficiaries of Hassan’s murder are known

Grand Mufti Mohammad Rashid Qabbani mourned on Saturday the Martyr General Wissam al-Hassan who passed away in a terrorist blast in Ashrafiyeh on Friday.

Qabbani offered his condolences to Hassan’s family, the ISF, the political and security officials and the families of the victims who passed away in Ashrafieh.

Qabbani said that "the martyrs’ blood paves the road of a free state", stressing that "the crime’s purpose is obvious and that the beneficiaries are known."

The Mufti urged the Lebanese government to reveal the murderers’ identity to assure the citizens that they are still safe.

Qabbani announced 3 days of mourning starting tomorrow in Dar Al Fatwa and its affiliated institutions. He also apologized for not receiving Adha greetings during these difficult times.
