Lebanon condemns alleged plot targeting UAE, denounces Hezbollah involvement

Lebanon's Foreign Affairs and Emigrants Ministry expressed strong condemnation of what it described as a terrorist plot targeting the United Arab Emirates.

In a statement, the ministry denounced the alleged involvement of Hezbollah, recalling a Lebanese government decision issued on March 2, 2026, banning the group's military and security activities.

The ministry affirmed Lebanon's full solidarity with the United Arab Emirates, noting that the Gulf country has long supported Lebanon during times of crisis.

It also praised Emirati security agencies for what it described as their vigilance and expressed Lebanon's readiness to fully cooperate in the investigation in order to bring those responsible to justice.
