Public institutions to close for Catholic and Orthodox Easters

Prime Minister Najib Mikati issued on Thursday a memorandum declaring the 15th and 18th of April as a public holiday for the occasion of the Catholic Easter.

The memorandum calls for the closure of all public administrations, institutions, municipalities, schools, public and private universities on the said day.

It also declared the 22nd and 25th of April as a public holiday for the occasion of the Orthodox Easter
