Lebanese agent indicted on charges of espionage and assisting Israel

State Commissioner to the Military Court Judge Saqr Saqr charged on Thursday a Lebanese detainee who was accused of working for the Israeli Intelligence, meeting with Israeli officers and leaking information about security locations since 2001, including the location of the residence of Hezbollah’s Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah.

The detainee was prosecuted according to articles 273, 274 and 278 of the Lebanese Penal Code which stipulate the death sentence. He was referred to the First Military Investigative Judge.
