Israeli army says it carried out ‘precision strike’ in Beirut

The Israeli military said it carried out a precision strike in the Beirut area on Thursday.

In a brief statement, the army said: "A short while ago, the Israeli army conducted a precise strike in the Beirut area."

Initial reports indicate that the Israeli airstrike targeted the Choueifat area.
