UN Secretary-General: Parties to the Gaza conflict 'crushing' international law

Secretary-General of the United Nations António Guterres stated on Wednesday that the parties to the conflict in Gaza are “crushing” international law and urged them to immediately cease fire for humanitarian reasons.

Speaking at the World Economic Forum in Davos, he said that the parties to the conflict "are ignoring international law and disregarding the Geneva Conventions, violating the Charter of the United Nations."
