Erdogan: Attacks targeting Iran are a blatant violation of international law

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Monday criticized the attacks carried out by the United States and Israel against Iran, describing them as a “blatant violation” of international law and saying that Turkey shares the Iranian people’s pain.

Speaking during a Ramadan iftar dinner in Ankara, Erdogan said Turkey would intensify contacts at all levels to help secure a ceasefire and restore calm in the region. He warned that the continuation of the conflict carries serious risks for the region and the world that no one can afford to bear.
