Lebanon’s president condemns attacks on Kuwait and Bahrain, urges de-escalation

Lebanon’s President Joseph Aoun condemned Iranian attacks targeting civilian sites in Kuwait and Bahrain, including the Kuwait International Airport.

He described the strikes as a violation of the sovereignty of the two “brotherly countries” and a breach of principles of international law.

President Aoun expressed Lebanon’s solidarity with Kuwait and Bahrain, calling for efforts to spare the region further consequences and to help reduce escalation.
