The United Kingdom has been providing the Lebanese Armed Forces with support since several years on two levels; to build monitoring towers along the borders, and by providing equipment and training to the armed forces.
On the occasion of assuming his duties in Lebanon a month ago, newly-appointed British Ambassador to Lebanon Chris Rambling visited Hamat air base, where a military drill of various military operations was conducted.
