Preserving food for winter is a Lebanese tradition where Lebanese women used to store and prepare “Mouneh” during the summer months to be consumed during winter's harsh days.
 
A mouneh day was held in the Keserwan town of Ghazir in order to encourage these women to preserve this tradition.
