Two Lebanese women raise Lebanon's flag atop Africa's highest mountain
Once again, Lebanese women broke the societal barriers and raised Lebanon's flag high.

This time, the granddaughters of Former Deputy Prime Minister Issam Fares, Sarah, and Omaima Fares, successfully climbed Mount Kilimanjaro for six days and raised the flag of Lebanon on the top of the highest mountain in Africa after an arduous journey and a lot of effort and perseverance.

Located in Tanzania, Africa, 5,895 meters above sea level, Mount Kilimanjaro is the world's largest free-standing mountain. It comprises three cones: Kibo, Mawenzi, and Shira. Kibo, the summit, is dormant and could erupt again.
