Saudi Crown Prince reaffirms to President Aoun Kingdom’s support for Lebanon and efforts to end its suffering

Lebanon’s President Joseph Aoun held a phone call on Tuesday evening with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, thanking him for his personal support and for the Kingdom’s continued backing of Lebanon and its people.

According to a statement, Aoun expressed appreciation for Saudi Arabia’s standing alongside Lebanon, particularly during the difficult circumstances the country is facing.

For his part, the crown prince reaffirmed Saudi Arabia’s support for Lebanon and the Lebanese people, and its commitment to working toward ending their suffering.

The call also addressed the general situation in Lebanon and the region in light of ongoing developments.
