Hezbollah says it targeted Israeli artillery position in Kfar Giladi with rockets, drones

Hezbollah said it targeted an Israeli artillery position in the settlement of Kfar Giladi with a barrage of rockets and a swarm of attack drones, in response to what it described as repeated violations.

In a statement, the group said the attack was carried out “in defense of Lebanon and its people” and in response to what it called “blatant and documented Israeli violations,” which it said have exceeded 200 breaches since the ceasefire took effect, including attacks on civilians and the destruction of homes and villages in southern Lebanon.

Hezbollah said the strike took place at 6:50 p.m. on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, targeting what it described as the source of recent artillery fire toward the town of Yohmor al-Shaqif.

The group said the operation was conducted “within the framework of the right to resist occupation and repel it.”
