Russia fired record 8,150 drones at Ukraine in May: AFP analysis

Russia fired a record number of long-range drones at Ukraine in May, an AFP analysis of Ukrainian air force data showed Monday, as Kyiv appealled to allies for air defense support.

Russia launched 8,150 long-range drones and more than 200 missiles during the month, according to a compilation of daily reports published by Ukraine's air force, beating the previous record set one month earlier.
