Pro-Assad demonstration in Sidon
A group of pro-Assad demonstrators took to the street in Ramlet al-Baida – Sidon on Sunday in support of the Chinese veto at the U.N. Security Council to bloc further sanctions against the regime.       

They presented the Chinese ambassador with a petition expressing appreciation and condemning hostile posturing by the Arab/International communities.         

The petition, read by Jamal al-Muhsen, had words of praise for Putin's administration in Moscow which spared no effort to back the Syrian regime against "local conspirators and saboteurs in the pay of Zionism and America!"        

Demonstrators concluded that "the people are willing to die for the sake of their beloved leader Bashar Assad."
