REPORT: Hundreds bid farewell to Lebanon sea victim
The funeral of Hussein Hassan Ahmad, a Lebanese national who drowned off the coast of Turkey while attempting to illegally immigrate to Germany, was held Tuesday in the the southern village of al-Mansouri.
 

Ahmad’s body arrived in Lebanon early in the morning.

 

Yesterday, the Lebanese Foreign Ministry declared that its embassy in Ankara is coordinating with the Consulate General in Istanbul to follow up on the case of the Lebanese nationals who drowned off the coast of Turkey after their boat or boats apparently capsized.

 

These nationals were identified as Hussein Hassan Ahmad, Chanel Jean Fares and Mohammad Hussein Khachab.

 
In this regard, Foreign affairs Ministry reported that the body of Mohammad Hussein Khachab will be transported to Lebanon on Thursday.
