REPORT: LAU students stage protest
Students at the Lebanese American University in Beirut staged a sit-in originally dedicated to protest against a raise in tuition fee, but the slogans raised during the movement showed that the issue has gone beyond the tuition fee increase.

Supporters of various parties stood next to each other in the protest and expressed their objection to many practices of the university’s administration.

The protesters' demands were directly heard by the dean of students who ​also participated in the sit-in.
