Suleiman: I will personally follow up on the issue of Lebanese abductees

President Michel Suleiman said Friday that he will personally follow up on the issue of all of the Lebanese abductees; he said he will guarantee their release and their return to their families and nation.

During his meeting with MPs Ghazi Zeayter, Ali Ammar and a delegation from the families of the 11 Lebanese men abducted in Syria, Suleiman said that the Lebanese state has been making contacts with influent regional parties to follow up on the issue. Suleiman added he was satisfied with the efforts exerted to release the abductees and the reassurances he received from Arab and Turkish officials confirming that they are in good health.
