Aoun marks International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People

President Michel Aoun said on Thursday that the declaration of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, the passing of the Jewish nation-state law, and the blocking of UNRWA aid further violate resolution 194.

Aoun’s comments were made to mark the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People.

Aoun stressed that the failure of the International community in carrying out its duties towards the Palestinian cause and its double standards policy “would lead to the continuation of wars in the Middle East region due to lack of justice.”
