Fingerprints for ID applications to be digitized
The Lebanese Directorate-General of Civil Status amended its procedures for submitting applications to obtain IDs as part of a nation-wide project to digitize all of its databases.
Citizens are from now on required to provide their fingerprints electronically at the directorate’s regional branches.
