In this regard, sources spoke to LBCI about a 24-hour deadline, after which either Samir al-Khatib will be the only candidate, or his name will be eliminated and the negotiations will tackle another option. “Either PM Hariri’s name will return, or their will be another candidate, who will most probably be MP Fouad Makhzoumi,” the sources said.
