Lebanon extends lockdown to May 24
The Cabinet approved on Tuesday the extension of the nationwide lockdown until May 24 to curb the spread of Coronavirus.
This as Minister of Interior Mohamad Fahmi said that restrictions on vehicles with even and odd numbers will continue to be enforced.
On another note, the government agreed to restore administration of the country's two mobile phone networks ahead of a new tender.
Meanwhile, Minister of Economy Raoul Nehmeh said that a session will be held next Thursday dedicated to tackle the prices hike and dealing with the economic and social crisis.
On the sidelines of the session, Prime Minister Hassan Diab said that his relationship with Speaker Nabih Berri “was and will remain excellent.”
