Future bloc blames death of Lebanese in Indonesian boat tragedy on Hezbollah's arms

The Future bloc held on Tuesday its weekly meeting during which it tackled the latest developments in Lebanon and the entire region.

Following the meeting, the bloc noted that "the possession of illegal arms stands as the main reason of illegal migration", in reference to Hezbollah's weapons.

The bloc also slammed the attack on the citizens of Baalbek city, adding that it proves "the power of weapons."

Five people were killed on Saturday during clashes between Hezbollah members and al-Chiyah family in the city of Baalbek.

The members of the bloc urged Hezbollah to withdraw its arms form all Lebanese regions.

The bloc hailed President Michel sleiman's efforts in "protecting the constitution and the Lebanese people."

The Future bloc also slammed the performance of caretaker Communication Minister Sehnaoui, adding that he is hindering the work of the Special Tribunal for Lebanon by not complying with its demands.

The bloc concluded by urging the swift formation of a new government, saying that the country "cannot bear further paralysis."
