Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea called on Saturday for considering the speech delivered by President Michel Sleiman on the Independence Day as a roadmap to address the Lebanese current situation.        

LF leader Geagea called on parties involved in the Syrian war to withdraw their fighters, he said in reference to Hezbollah, stressing the need to form a competent government to revive the Parliament's work and to hold the upcoming presidential elections.           

"Sleiman's speech on the Independence Day showed that he is a President who assumes a national responsibility," Geagea said, adding that Sleiman highlighted the need to maintain Lebanon's sovereignty and to eliminate the presence of illegitimate weapons.
