MP Jumblatt praises Saudi-French cooperation to support LAF soldiers

Progressive Socialist Party leader MP Walid Jumblatt praised on Tuesday the Saudi-French cooperation to support the Lebanese Armed Forces, considering it a generous step that was taken at the right time seemingly since the military institution is carrying out its duties amid difficult circumstances.

Jumblatt said in a statement that enhancing the potential of the Lebanese army carries an extraordinary significance in light of the continuous Israeli breaches.

In this regard, MP Jumblatt urged all Lebanese factions to respond to the Saudi-French initiative positively, pointing out that it serves the interest of the Lebanese state regardless of the surrounding circumstances and regional changes.
