Clashes in Ain al-Helweh refugee camp injure four people
Tension overshadowed the Ain al-Helweh refugee camp Monday, after rumors claimed that the Palestinian national Alaeddine Ali Hajir affiliated with the Islamist group "Fatah al-Islam” died of wounds sustained three days ago in the camp’s al-Fawqani Street.

In the details, supporters of Hajir opened fire in the air shortly after the news spread, triggering clashes between members of the Bilal Badr group and members of Talal al-Ourdouni group, leaving four people injured.

Accordingly, the Palestinian security committee kicked off its efforts to restore calm to the camp located in Lebanon's Sidon, south of the country. Sources from Labib Medical Center, where Hajir had been receiving treatment, denied reports of his death.
