MP Kanaan to LBCI: Aoun-Geagea meeting yet to be scheduled

Change and Reform bloc MP Ibrahim Kanaan said Monday that a meeting between bloc leader MP Michel Aoun and Lebanese Forces chief Samir Geagea has yet to be scheduled.

In a phone call with LBCI's Nharkom Said TV Show, MP Kanaan said “this meeting could be surprising,” noting that “the presidential stalemate is among the files currently being discussed”.

Turning to legislation at the parliament, the lawmaker said his bloc is “ready to attend a parliamentary session that includes urgent draft-laws that constitute high national interest”.

“We do not obstruct the parliament’s work but we oppose its agenda,” he concluded.
