Lebanese army raids house of suspected killer of LAF officer Kahil
The Lebanese army confiscated 35 guns from the family home of a man suspected of killing Lt. Col. Rabih Kahil earlier this week, the military said in a statement issued on Friday.

"An Army unit raided on Thursday the house of the Daou family in the village of Bdadoun in [the Mount Lebanon district of] Aley," the statement read.

The seized items were handed over to the concerned judiciary, it added. Kahil was shot four times in the leg during a roadside spat on Sunday near Bdadoun.

He succumbed to his wounds at the hospital on Wednesday.

The army has apprehended Elie Daou, one of the suspects accused of involvement in the murder. A second suspect, Hicham Daou, remains at large.
