On Wednesday February 21, 2018, the price of 95 octane fuel dropped 300 LBP and that of 98 octane fuel 400 LBP. The price of fuel oil also dropped 500 LBP and that of diesel oil 300 LBP.
The table issued by Ministry of Energy and Water set the prices of hydrocarbon derivatives as follows:
- Gasoline 95 octane: 26,000 LBP
- Gasoline 98 octane: 26,600 LBP
- Fuel Oil: 17,700 LBP
- Diesel Oil: 17,800 LBP
