Al-Berjawi warns of a counter movement if Sidon's sit-in does not end in 48 hours

The head of the Arab Movement Shaker al-Berjawi told LBCI on Friday that if the sit-in in Sidon does not end in the next 48 hours, he will start a counter-movement.

Al-Berjawi earlier explained that the sit-in held by his supporters near the Kuwaiti embassy in Beirut aims at expressing their rejection of the latest practices of Sheikh Ahmad al-Assir in regards to sectarian mobilization, incitement to sedition and dragging Lebanon into a civil war.

He stressed that he is against sedition, calling on the Lebanese state to assume its responsibilities by protecting the Lebanese people.
