Maronite Patriarch Cardinal Bechara Butros Rai stressed the need for a “national reform stance that would revive Lebanon and restore the characteristic of pluralism, openness and democracy.”
During the mass marking “Day of the Assumption of Virgin Mary” in Diman, Rai called on the concerned officials to be alert and well-aware of the latest developments and work to fix matters in the country.
“The political system in Lebanon is neither a dictatorship nor a Nazi or a tyrant rule,” he said.
