Tourism Minister Avedis Guidanian declared Friday that "tourism growth has reached 7% and Lebanese banks' reports on the tourism sector show progress."
In a press conference held at the ministry, he said that "what we are doing today does not compensate for the losses of previous years in terms of tourism, but we are making progress and the numbers in recent months are encouraging.”
