Lebanon seeks extension of ceasefire, halt to attacks in proposals via Washington: Sources to LBCI

Lebanon has instructed its ambassador in Washington to present a set of proposals including extending the ceasefire between 20 and 40 days, halting the destruction of villages and homes in occupied areas, and stopping attacks on civilians, emergency responders, Red Cross teams, and journalists, sources told LBCI.

According to the sources, the proposals also call for an end to ongoing violations as part of efforts to stabilize the situation.

The sources added that if Israel confirms its commitment to these points, discussions would then move to the details of negotiations, including their timing and location.
