Syrian Ambassador: Border incidents contradict with dissociation policy

Syrian Ambassador to Lebanon Ali Abdel Karim considered what is currently taking place on the Syrian-Lebanese borders as completely contradicting with the dissociation policy adopted by the Lebanese authorities towards the situation in Syria.

Answering a question about judicial requests against a number of Lebanese dignitaries, Abdel Karim said this matter is purely judicial, refusing to dwell on it. However, he considered what is currently taking place on the Lebanese arena and Syrian-Lebanese borders require swift and responsible solutions.

The Syrian Ambassador also called for fortifying the internal Lebanese scene and borders, preventing the smuggling of arms and armed men and non-responding to international pressures.
