Wahhab reiterates refusal of 60’s law for the upcoming elections

Arab Tawhid party leader, Former minister Wiam Wahhab said on Wednesday that elections will not take place on the basis of the 1960’s electoral law and added that this is a settled issue according to his party.

“It is better to have a transitional stage that combines both the law of proportionality and the majoritarian system,” he added.

Wahhab pointed out that some Lebanese are pretending that they are able to benefit from the Syrian crisis in Lebanon and concluded by saying that moving the violence into Lebanon is both unacceptable and abhorred.
